Easter Eggs Galore!!!

This spring we have had our share of Easter fun!! Egg hunts, picnics...you name it and we've done it (all with our bunny ears in tow)!!! Our first Easter Egg hunt was with Annie's class. If you've never seen a whole pack (19) of 4 year olds hunt Easter eggs, you are really missing out! One of Annie's classmates hosted her whole class (and parents) for a really super egg hunt! The kids all went wild hunting eggs and everyone was rewarding with a dozen candy filled eggs for their efforts! After all that egg hunting everyone was tired and hungry so we settled in for a picnic snack in the front yard! The day was beautiful and the kids (and parents) had a BLAST!!! A few pics of the FPD 4k Easter Egg Hunt:

Our next egg hunt was at church. This time all of the girls got to participate! The girls were so excited they could hardly contain themselves! We got to church a little before 10, while the youth were still hiding eggs! Making those girls wait until it was time to start was not easy! Finally, Josh gathered all of the kids together and shared the Easter story and then sent the kids outside to hunt away! This time someone upped the ante' a little bit by hiding a GOLDEN EGG! Oh, how Annie T. wanted to find the golden egg! Inside was a Veggie Tales sticker that could be redeemed for a Veggie movie and CD (nevermind that it was the DVD that the girls watched on the way to the egg hunt, Annie was determined to find that egg)!! Once the golden egg was found, Annie was done for! She wanted no part of the egg hunt after that! Thankfully the little girls were still interested! All in all, I think a good time was had by all!
