After a bumpy start to our spring break (stomach virus galore) we finally recovered enough to make a quick weekend trip to my parent's house. The girls were so excited to see Gleigh and Bo and Uncle Daniel AND to just get out of the house.
EVERYONE got a ride on Bo's back! This just might have been the highlight of the trip! ha!
The weather was so nice and Chattanooga has such a great downtown. We spent ALL day Saturday outside just enjoying the weather! We of course, made our way to the "cardboard box hill". This has got to be one of our favorite things to do! It is just so much fun!

We also went for a ride on the Coolidge Park carousel. This is another favorite of ours! We always make a stop here when we are downtown!
After riding the carousel, we walked across the walking bridge and went to play on the playground next to the river. We even found another sledding hill!

After we played on the playground we made our way back towards the car, making one last stop for ICECREAM!! yay! The kids were so good and definitely enjoyed these well-deserved cones! :)
Sunday was another beautiful day and after church and a lunch full of meltdowns we hurried out to enjoy the day! It seems like my kids are generally just happier outside-thank goodness for springtime!!
